While I am not really much of a beach person, I love taking sea photos. The ocean has always calmed me. In Cape Town, where I live, we are blessed with not one but two oceans – the cool Atlantic Ocean and the warmer Indian Ocean. This means that you will almost always see the sea at some point, whether you are heading out on a road trip or exploring within the city and its surrounds.
Indian Ocean beaches include the False Bay coastline, which consists of Muizenberg, Kalk Bay, Fish Hoek, St James and Boulders (the popular penguin beach). A bit out of town within the greater Western Cape, Betty’s Bay and Smitswinkelbaai are found on the Indian Ocean coastline.
